Styling
Exterior
The fifth generation Mustang has nice lines from the factory, reminiscent of the 60's Mustang, yet with the technology of today. Although Ford did a nice job with the stock Mustang, I couldn't call it mine without some personalization. There seems to be an abundance of aftermarket Mustang vendors, but I chose to take cues from Foose and Cervinis as an inspiration for my 'Stang.
- Cervinis Front upper and lower billet grille
- Niche F18 black 20x8.5 (front) 20x10 (rear) rims with Nitto NT555 Extreme tires
- Cervinis Lower GT500 front chin spoiler
- Ford Shelby GT rear bumper cover
- WebElectric sequential taillights
- Rear taillight smoked film covers and center blackout panel
- Front turn signal indicator smoke lens' (not pictured yet)
Interior
The Mustang's interior is a huge step up from previous generations. In an effort to keep costs down, I opted to go with the cloth charcoal interior, however I did opt for the myColor gauges. This allows me to change the background color of the gauges by simply using the Reset, Setup, and Info buttons above the radio. It also adds two gauges to the cluster.
The interior has a nice two tone look with chrome edges on the gauge pods and brushed style accents on the door handles, steering wheel, vents, and dash. So far the interior modifications have been minimal:
- Billet pedal covers from UPR
- Billet HVAC knobs from UPR
- Black mustang lettering inserts for the door sills
